This Yirgacheffe bean from Sidamo region of Ethiopia is grown near the shore of lake Abaya which gives its name to the nearby town. Growing at higher elevations between 1700m – 2200m the coffee grows at a slower rate, allowing greater time for the tree to deliver more nutrients so the bean develops better flavours.
