For maximising seal lifeAlways eject used coffee immediately after brewing and store your AeroPress with the seal fully pushed through the chamber. This prevents the seal from compressing, extending its durability. There are no adhesives on the seal, so you can easily remove it and replace it on the AeroPress plunger.

For everyday use, a simple rinse is sufficient, as the plunger cleans the chamber while you prepare the coffee. However, you can wash the AeroPress in the dishwasher (top tray only). We recommend occasionally removing the plunger seal for thorough cleaning with hot soapy water. If the chamber becomes sticky, clean it with vinegar. The AeroPress is BPA free.
